A Whirlwind of Personality

Eugenie was as unique as her style. She believed in UFOs and Shangri-La. She watched no television, but instead read the Great Books. She fancied herself a vegetarian, but was known to indulge in a porterhouse every once in awhile. She got her clothes from Beverly Hills thrift shops, and was constantly trying to pick up guys at the local seminary. She gave the little cottage she picked up for a song a beaten earth floor and eschewed chairs for tuffets instead. Instead of drugs, she liked to alter her consciousness by repeatedly striking a huge standing tuning fork that she would sit with her back against. She would write long letters to Krishnamurti, which, of course, went unanswered, but that did not deter her.

A very interesting and unique young woman indeed.
