The Dfilii of the Crab Nebula, sector 73221, started out as reptilian sentients and after millions of years evolved bodies that could live in space. No atmosphere was required, however, they did need to have regular nourishment from Shepherd Entities, who produces a hybrid matter-energy stew that they vomited for the Dfilii regulars to partake of.
