Costume design can be used to cause 'titillation intrigue' by exposing and lifting the breasts in a way that they are not ordinarily seen. This costume is an example of the concept, as not only does it expose the top of the breast but also a fair amount of the line of the underside allowing for the fulsomeness of the organ to be accessed by the eye.

Director Jesus Franco did Eurotrash cinema before it blossomed. This still is from "The Diabolical Dr. Z", made in the early 60s. At least in the American cut, there wasn't any outright nudity (the European version probably had some), but it was full of titillating elements such as this rather sheer costume worn by this nightclub dancer.

Despite the crudities of this illustration, and the fact that the lady being examined is more corpulent than is generally thought to be attractive, this is a rather provocative evocation, particularly with the expression on her face and the obvious engorgement of her exposed nipple.
