All of a sudden, Porky found himself in a different dimension, void of color, and full of objects that looked familiar, but were unusually rigid and straight-edged, and which contained textures that were finer than anything he had ever experienced. He hadn't yet encountered any living things -- he might be the only living thing in this dimension, but something living had to have produced the house and the furniture in it.
He was quite alarmed that in this new plane, he had lost all coloring and was experiencing a flanging effect, as if his essence were being pulled back into the world he had lived all his life.
The nearby window seemed to be the portal.
He could hardly wait to make the transition back.
