Statue of Cerebrephalius

Greek statue (black basalt) of the demi-god Cerebrephalius, the steward of male arousal. The lack of a head is not the result of damage but is original design. The Greeks believed that when a man became sexually aroused, his mental processes wholly transferred to his erect penis, thus the evocation of the brain body taking the place of the testicles.

Many Thanks to Wunderkammer
