Short-lived sci-fi comedy TV show, "Holmes and YoYo", from 1976.
In those days, to make a robot, just tape a couple of calculators to the actor's stomach.

2001:A Technology Love-Affair
A still from 2001:A Space Odyssey. The pilot area of the moon transport, showing instrument set-up. Kubrick understood that his audience would be fascinated with the nuts and bolts of space transportation 33 years into the future, so he would include sequences that would allow one to marvel at the futuristic designs. No toggle switches. No dials. No needle guages. Lots of computer displays. Convincingly rendered,
Great work, Stanley.

Hello, Dimension Lords?
"Please, let me outta here."
The Dimension Lords (Les Seigneurs des Dimensions) had trapped Neil Diamond in 1982 for his atrocious song hit, "Heartlight". They were determined to keep him there til 2009, at least in most parallel universes.
"Mr. Diamond, how did you get this number?"

E.T. Phone Hive
Roger had spent enough time in Berlin night clubs to know a B girl when he saw one. But, this was a completely new wrinkle.

Here's A Nice Crappy Movie For Ya
Look for it under the title "The Atomic Brain" (and there is a MST3K version). Goofy, melodramatic, and sexy in a Fifties way. A real six-pack movie. Ya can't lose.

In The Good Ole Days
There was a time, about 50 years ago, when every weekend you could expect to see a late night horror or science fiction movie on your local TV station. No stupid infomercials -- real honest to goodness scary movies. And you might even have been lucky enough to have a horror host entertaining you during the commercial breaks.
I miss that time.

Blob: European Style
Great, freakin' monster movie that I was fortunate to have seen on late night TV a couple of times when I was a teen. Had all the elements that made an entertaining and creepy pic, despite the fact that it was black and white and murky.
