Conservative people, of which I count myself one, do not want bad lives for disadvantaged minorities. We just want them to work and struggle the same as we do to make our own way. The act of earning one's living is character building, and good not only for the individual and the family, but for the community as a whole. Taking money from the government, and especially when it is used to abuse drugs, and especially when it involves cheating the system, is self-defeating and detrimental to the community.


Keeping people dependent on government largesse benefits only the politicians who count on the votes of those dependent on federal handouts.

This blog is not a political blog. It is a humor blog. However, I do post occasionally on political themes.

 

The perceptive will detect a conservative attitude in many of these, and I am quite conservative, it is true. I will however, at times, go against the grain and post something more moderate or liberal in tone. I am not one dimensional when it comes to politics. 

  

Most of the blogs I visit are mastered by people of decidedly more liberal attitudes than mine, as evidenced by some of their posts. This does not stop me from enjoying what they have to offer and doesn't make me feel any less grateful to them for their efforts.

I hope you will extend to me the same acceptance.

This seems to be a well-worn trope of the feminist crowd. They seem to be saying that someone is putting a psychological gun to their head saying that they must submit themselves to any man (or woman, for that matter) that wants to have sex with them. 


I have always respected women's right to decide if they wish to enter into physical intimacy with me, and have, if anything, struggled to not take for granted some unspoken entitlement to have sex with them, or a belief that, in order to consider them worthy of knowing, that they must "put out".


The postings I have here of women in a sexy mood/situation. I select because I interpret them as women who are adults and understand the power they hold over a man, and who choose to play because they want to and they can.

In by far most of the social situations women (and men) find themselves in, no one has to do anything they don't want to if they choose not to, and they can choose to ignore any unwelcome attentions.
