Yes, it has been a hella long time since I have posted here, but I wanted to see if posting something anew would cause a blip in the traffic across my old blog, so I have reposted an item that I first posted on my Facebook page, The Hell You Say. The Prodigal Returns

Well, I have made a 180 degree turn.

As it turns out, Facebook has a rule against posts involving nudity, and as my friends here no doubt know, at least half of what I post has some kind of nudity,

I can't live with that kind of limitation on my creativity, so I am closing my FB page, and returning to my blog.

I hope you will forgive me my dalliance. I am chastened, and am determined to make another go of Hot Buttered Groat Clusters.

Early this morning, the ticker that tallies pageviews ticked over to 20,000. A major milestone for this little blog, and just a few days before its first anniversary.

I am exceedingly proud to proclaim that as of this morning, Hot Buttered Groat Clusters has had 15,000 pageviews. It has taken awhile to get from 10,000 to 15,000, but it feels good to have made it. Thanks to all my faithful visitors. I promise I will keep HBGC viable for at least another 15,000 views.

I Feel I Have To Apologize, Again

I know my posts of late have been fewer than in past times. Sorry. Really.


I guess I am passing into another "phase" of doing a blog. A phase in which my posting is less frequent and, unfortunately, much less prolific than in the first months of the blog.


I don't see this changing, because, frankly, I am not finding images that inspire me like those that I found in the beginning. I think this is more of a function of my psyche than the material that is out on the Blogosphere.


Nevertheless, I will strive to maintain the level of quality, and I hope to not disappoint.

As you have no doubt noticed, I have not posted for some days now. 


I am working on getting us moved to Minnesota and it does take up quite a bit of my time.


I am just about to a point where I will have time to post again, so don't despair.

Having lost my job has taken the wind out of my sails somewhat. I haven't posted much new stuff, and what I have posted, IMO, is not up to my par.


But, I promise you I will get back in form in a week or so, so I beg your indulgence while I get back up to speed.

Here's Some Really Bad News

As of this morning, I have been relieved of my current livelihood. I am no longer working at the place that I have been journeying to in the morning for six years.


Do I expect this to have an effect on my blogging?


Well, yes, it may, because right now, I'm puttin' time into getting ready for this new state of affairs.


I don't expect to find work immediately (the Houston market is not that robust, at least for x-ray techs).


But I will still post when I have a minute, and I promise not to "paint it black", because this isn't the end of the world.
