My Chair Has A Head Growing Out of It
It was a gorgeous upholstered easy chair. Then one morning, Clara noticed a pale, flesh colored "knob" protruding from the upper back of the furnishing. In a few days, a fully formed female head, startlingly bland in comparison with the elaborate coloration of the remainder of the chair, had emerged from the spot. The fixture was totally quiescent and rigid, but had an expression of serene amusement.
