The results of prolonged operation of the disease was an appearance not unlike that of Picasso's cubism portraits.

Little Hassan was only 10, but his elephantiasis had spread to the point that his whole lower body was not distinguishable from the lower portion of an elephant's leg. He enjoyed great postural stability but had to hop to get anywhere.
