Charles Rutherford Murgatroyd, Sometimes Addressed As Pastor
was a high-rolling profligate in the Victorian era, who was notorious for talking prostitutes into a night at his manse, after which, according to some wags, the prostitute ended up refunding the reverend Mr. Murgatroyd his money. Quite the colorful character, C.R. (as close friends called him) always displayed an etched depiction of the prophet Mohammed on his shirtfront, and was fond of rather pungent Colombian cigars. Pastor Murgatroyd died in a duel with an M.P. who (mistakenly) believed the libertine had cuckolded him.
